Eligibility

1. Age : General category candidates must have been born on or after 1st October, 1994. SC, ST and PWD candidates must have been born on or after 1st October, 1989.

2. In 10+2, candidates must have scored at least 75% marks or should be in the top 20 percentile in your respective board. Some relaxation is given to SC/ST students. Every year exam conducting IIT give the information regarding minimum marks to all Boards but it revolves around the above more or less.

3. While calculating your marks , top 5 subjects are considered. Students must have taken PCM in 12th class.

  • Now, from 2019, aspirants can appear twice for JEE Mains. Consecutive 3 years, one can sit for JEE mains.
  • Exam fee is Rs 500 for general and RS 250 for other category.

    How can I check the status of my JEE (main)-2019 examination fees?

    The candidates are required to check the status of fee payment at NTA website (www.jeemain.nic.in).

    The candidate should take the printout of Confirmation Page. In case, the Confirmation Page is not being downloaded.

    The candidates are advised to follow as following:- i) If the fee is paid through e-challan by depositing cash in the nearest SBI bank, the candidate should contact immediately the concerned bank to update his/her fee status on the website.

    ii) If the fee is paid through credit/debit card and status is not OK, wait for at least 48 hours for updation.

    If still not updated, it means the transaction is cancelled and the amount will automatically be refunded to concerned credit/debit card within 7 – 10 days.

    Therefore, such candidates have to pay the fee once again and ensure the OK fee status.

    . Is it necessary to appear in JEE (Main) Examination twice? If I give the examination on both the occasions, which score will be considered? No. it is for your convenience.
